About CPYS Academy

Coach Pius Youth Soccer (CPYS) LLC was founded in 2014 by Pius Amoh and Sunny Owusu with a vision to foster excellence in young athletes through the beautiful game of soccer.

Our academy goes beyond just kicking a soccer ball. We educate children on achieving healthier lifestyles through active participation while promoting nutritious habits and mental wellness.

Through expert mentorship and guidance, we embolden our young athletes to master soccer fundamentals while developing essential life skills: discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship.

Pius Amoh

Head Coach & Co-Founder

15+ Years Experience Licensed Coach

Pius Amoh is the CEO and co-founder of Coach Pius Youth Soccer LLC who holds a Master’s degree in Accounting. As the youngest of three, he always enjoyed playing soccer with his older siblings back in Ghana. He always wanted a younger sibling who he could teach the game to; just like his brothers taught him. His desire to teach soccer coupled with his passion for the game drove him to create a program for kids by utilizing the values of the sport to teach lifelong lessons.

Sunny Owusu

Sports Science Fitness Expert

Sunny Owusu is the CFO and co-founder of Coach Pius Youth Soccer LLC who holds a Master’s degree in Finance. While working as a summer youth counselor since the age of 12, he interacted daily with young children. He taught them a variety of sports such as basketball, kickball and soccer. Those interactions nurtured a desire within him to infuse his love for sports and counsel as an outlet for children. His goal was to encourage the adolescence to socialize, express themselves and channel energy in a productive way.
